PROJECT NARRATIVEAparto The Spireworks is a student accommodation building in Oxford housing hundreds of students with varying schedules and backgrounds. As Event and Content Assistant, the role involved creating welcoming, community-centered experiences that brought people together and introduced them to life in Oxford.
The two events below demonstrate this approach. Working within Aparto's existing brand toolkit, each event adapted the visual identity to suit its own tone and occasion. The first involved a collaboration with ice cream company George & Delila, introducing residents to a popular local business. The menu design borrowed from pop-up parlour aesthetics, curated florals for depth and a soon-to-be summer feel. The grab & go coffee morning took a similar approach with hand-drawn, sticker-like illustrations to create a café atmosphere, paired with a partnership with Peloton Espresso, another local business, to introduce students to neighbourhood favourites early in the year. Both examples were events grounded in community, local partnerships, and a considered visual direction.
